Wave pulse generator

Research conducted by NPO ITIS specialists made it possible to establish that in a number of special hydrodynamic regimes in flows of certain geometric characteristics (vortex, axisymmetric jet, flat flows), cavitation and wave radiation may occur.

On this basis, we created oscillation generators (for different strings of wells) that provide both wave action and hydrodynamic cleaning of filters or perforations, the surface of the casing string, the generation of shock pressure pulses with periodic coincidence of the axes of hydrodynamic cavitation generators and perforations . The prospects of this direction are confirmed by the works of ITM NASU and IGM NASU.

Processing of the PPP with a wave pulse generator:

  • Treatment of treatment areas is carried out according to the curves of gamma-ray logging and magnetic sleeve locator;
  • Processing of the selected intervals of the perforation zone with hydropulses of hydraulic pressure for 0.6...1.0 hours per 1 m of perforation.

Pulse Wave Generator allows you to:

  • selectively affect certain permeable local areas of the highest oil and gas saturation in the well perforation interval;
  • to provide pressure in the treatment zone that exceeds the rock pressure and allows it to be concentrated in the range of 1.0-1.5 m along the wellbore;
  • regulate the parameters of the water-gas-pulse action in terms of amplitude, duration and frequency of pulses in a wide range, depending on the state of the treatment zone;
  • to carry out the processing of the BFZ near watered intervals without the risk of putting them into operation;
  • clean the perforations;
  • to carry out the removal of deposits from the inner surface of the walls of the casing;
  • use only standard oilfield equipment in the process of reservoir stimulation;
  • use to enhance the effect of chemical treatment;
  • carry out work using a coiled tubing unit.
When treating a well with a pulse-wave generator, for the first time in the world, the effect of parametric resonance of reservoir structures was caused with the release of their internal energy and the formation of a water hammer with a duration of 7 ... 8 seconds with a pressure amplitude of 68.5 MPa. As a result of this phenomenon, the well flow rate increased from 2 to 90 m3/day in liquid terms.

The composition of the equipment, the scheme for piping ground and underground equipment, the sequence of work on the technology of pulsed wave exposure using a pulsed wave generator are made in accordance with SOU 11.1-00135390-042:2007 Standard of NPO ITIS, OJSC Ukrnafta - "Technology of impact on the bottomhole zone of oil, gas condensate, gas and injection wells by pulse-wave action."

The operating modes of the pulse-wave generator, the program for controlling its operation are selected and formed by specialized software.

The duration of processing by a pulse-wave generator is determined by an express method for assessing the current state of the BFZ filtration parameters.

The process of processing by a pulse-wave generator is recorded by a downhole autonomous pressure gauge - a thermometer.
